About MO-KAN LECET

Western Missouri and Kansas Laborers-Employers Cooperation and Education Trust (MO-KAN LECET) is a non-profit organization, run by a board consisting of Laborers and Construction business owners and representatives.

Our goal is to bring together the local unions of the district with their signatory contractors to work as a team in the joined effort to secure projects and jobs.

How MO-KAN LECET Works

Through meetings with elected officials, we highlight the needs of the workforce and signatory contractors – finding ways to “level the playing field” when it comes to bidding on public contracts to make sure the companies who believe in paying liveable wages and providing employee benefits can continue the good work they do in our communities.

Through meetings with our contractors, discovering their business strengths and weaknesses – looking for ways to give them a competitive edge. MO-KAN LECET provides research and project tracking, as well as the MEPC database which finds bid opportunities at no cost to our contractors.
